Jannine and I hosted our first Raw Pot Luck dinner on Saturday. It was a lovely evening spent with some wonderful women and we enjoyed some amazing dishes.
This dinner is about providing support for participants of the raw workshops on their exploration with raw food, inviting guests who are interested in raw food and giving them an opportunity to share a fabulous evening and show casing raw food. Everyone commented on the variety and colour of the dishes and how full of flavour each dish was especially compared to the cooked versions. We enjoyed fattoush, gazpacho, marinated mushrooms, pumpkin soup, avocado soup, kale salad and pad thai followed by apricot and fig energy balls, apple crumble and cacao and chia pudding. The taste buds certainly where entertained on Saturday.
