Circle of Security – Parenting
A globally renowned and evidence-based program, the Circle of Security Parenting program has stood the test of time as an effective way of helping parents to reflect and understand themselves and the relationship they have with their child. It inspires insight into providing the best support of their child’s needs at their earliest stage of development. Kerry has been facilitating this program for over 15 years.
Who is Circle of Security – Parenting for?
Parents, grandparents or carers of children aged 0-5 years seeking a supportive program that allows understanding and discovery of the needs of children around the Circle map of attachment.
Preschool educators, mental health practitioners, children’s ministers, playgroup coordinators and family law mediators can also refer parents who might benefit from this program.
What can I expect?
You will meet with other parents in a small group and the program includes video, discussion, a handbook and the opportunity to reflect on the information from week to week. Feedback from previous participants shows that parents respond and interact with the material well, enjoy the support of a group setting and note positive changes in themselves and their children from pre- to post-program feedback.
Where can i access the program?
This program can be delivered in-person (min 8 max 20 participants) or online (min 6, max 10 participants).
How long is the program?
6 weeks, meeting for 1.5 hours each week.
